Sports solidarity and friendship!June 23 is International Olympic Day
On June 23, 1894, the International Olympic Committee was established.
This day has been recognized as Olympic Day since 1948 and has been widely celebrated all over the world.
On June 23 or the following weekend, there are mass long-distance running competitions, which are considered the main International Olympic Day event.
Running competitions with the slogan “Sports for everyone” are organized as a sports holiday in all parts of the world.
The Olympic Charter of the IOC Charter: “The Olympic Movement aims to educate young people through sports in the spirit of solidarity and friendship, thus contributing to the creation of a better and more peaceful world.”
